Environmental and Remediation
Our team completed the remediation of this 3.3 acre former landfill site prior to the commencement of construction of the new 50,000sqft industrial warehouse of Boysnope Wharf, Rhenus HQ. The site was remediated, re-profiled and then stabilised with our specialist equipment by our in-house team prior to piling operations commencing. Our team liaised with Peel Ports for all approvals, discharge licences, fees and wayleaves to finalise risk assessments, method statements and supervise the works for the drainage connection into the Manchester Ship Canal.

All works controlled by 3D GPS guided plant systems, reducing setting out and speeding up the works outputs by over 11%.
The alternative design has mitigated the majority of material disposal from site and significantly reduced the stone import by up to 89% providing time, cost and lorry movement savings. We then completed the new access to the A57 and section 278 works. The works were completed on time and to budget.
